As Chippy White Table grows, we have watched our business transform into a community where creative spirits can shine. Spring of last year we moved into a larger space in the heart of our hometown, Tunkhannock, PA. Our showroom is a welcoming sanctuary with natural light that floods through our high windows framing a beautiful dreamscape. Glass chandeliers, exposed brick, and a wall made of antique doors provide a stunning backdrop for photo shoots, showers, mixers, etc. It is the perfect place to inspire and be inspired—a place for us to highlight talent and share our artistry. We believe that when you leave Chippy White Table, you'll carry it's magic with you.
Together, we are continuously dreaming of new ways to share CWT and are thrilled to announce our latest endeavor as a Petite Wedding Venue.
There is a new trend for minimalism and simplicity finding its way into weddings. True to its name, petite weddings keep some time-honored elements of a classic ceremony except on a smaller scale. It is an abbreviated celebration of marriage with a handful of guests in a more relaxed atmosphere and less stress to plan and more freedom than a traditional wedding.
Kayla and Cait were the first couple to use our showroom as a petite wedding venue. They wanted to streamline their nuptials with a beautiful, fun ceremony that allowed them to prioritize spending time and with loved ones and offered quality over quantity. Their celebrant, Alisa Tongg, guided them as they said their vows in front of an intimate gathering of immediate family and close friends.
The Chippy White Table showroom already comes beautifully designed, adding decor, and a large selection of furniture to choreograph the space. Planning a wedding takes a great deal of time and energy. Petite weddings help alleviate decision fatigue from orchestrating a larger scale event. A modest affair can offer accessibility and is easy on cost. However, scaling back does not sacrifice the chance to celebrate. More couples are going the way of petite weddings because they are succinct, flexible, and personal.
Thank you Kayla and Cait for choosing CWT to host your wedding. We are so grateful to have collaborated with some amazing, talented vendors: cake Electric City Bakehouse, celebrant Alisa Tongg, Promise Ridge, cinematographer Kevin Fonash Studios, florals Fox Hill Farms, and photography Danielle Coons Photography.
